There’s something shocking that I’m about to tell you: there are those who manage fat reduction while doing cardio only.Acloser look will let you know that the ones losing the pounds are those who are younger men and have enough freedom for long workouts. Still cardio won’t help you lose 20 pounds.
You’ll find that this kind of experience with cardiovascular routines is the exception, not the rule.Women can experience fatter thighs as a result of cardiovascular fitness, not matter how much they work.
Sitll, those who are getting some results with cardio aren’t getting the best results they can get. And again, cardio doesn’t get the results people expect. Some of that’s due to the new study that shows how it boosts your appetite.
Cardiovascular is more likely to cause you to get fatter, in spite of the small minority that loses.
There’s nothing so disappointing as working out all the time and getting bigger rather than smaller. The study I’m referencing was done over an 8 week period and showed that one of the reasons cardio fails is because it boosts appetite: those involved ate more than ever. You can talk about this in the weight loss forum.
Those who think eating more is beneficial to your goals should continue to use cardio vascular training.Another research program revealed that cardio weight-loss in men was limited to an average six-pound reduction in a twelve month period.
That’s after investing an hour each day 6 days every week: not a very good return on investment.
So, again, scientific researchers contradict cardio as a valid method of weight loss. There have also been two head-on comparisons of interval training against cardiovascular training for weight loss.Every time intervals are shown to be more effecctive for weight loss than cardiovasuclar training. So I continue to suggest interval training to promote rapid weight loss.
